Motorola Droid Razr Cell Phone Review

When Motorola Razr was initially released, its strikingly slim feature immediately set the trend for mobile phone’s design that plagued the mobile industry in years. Other mobile companies had joined the fad and created their own masterpiece with this design. This tremendous success had lead Motorola to keep this feature as its trademark and continually produce other types of phone with this feature. But this did not stay long. Motorola had then to reinvent another masterpiece.

With the growing whim over Android phones, Motorola came back to join the competition and released its newer version of Motorola Razr, the Motorola Droid Razr. The introduction of Motorola Droid Razr has been considered as one of the most excellent marketing effort because Motorola was able to combine its two most dominant trademarks in one phone. It was able to create a thin smartphone through Motorola Droid Razr. For sure, all Motorola Droid Razr cell phone reviews would agree to this.

Other than this innovation, there are also other exciting and not so exciting features of Motorola Droid Razr handset that will be highlighted in this Motorola Droid Razr cell phone review. It will no longer be an argument that indeed it is the slimmest phone every produced by now with dimension of 5.14 inches in length, 2.71 inches in width and 0.28 inch in depth. What is more interesting about this mobile phone is that it is scratchproof and repels water. This gives more durability which means that the phone can be used for a longer period. The design can be a bit bulky for small hands, though and the pointed edges add a little discomfort when it is being held.

There is no doubt that its thin feature has already awed all spectators. But add to that, the 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display makes Motorola Droid’s Razr even more striking. Its lively and full colors in precise details are simply stunning. However, with the use of a Pentile matrix display, it does not compare with that of Samsung Galaxy S II or iPhone 4S but it still sustains an outstanding display.

It also has one of the common powerful features of every Motorola mobile phone which is the combined speed of a dual-core processor and Verizon’s 4G/LTE speeds. With this combination, navigation as a whole is seamless and multitasking is even made easier as there is vitually no need to wait when juggling between several applications.

Other commendable features of Motorola Droid Razr are its webtop functionality, an ample load of multimedia feature, a reasonable battery life and its government and corporate grade security. But along these commendable features, Motorola Droid Razr is not as perfect as being the ideal mobile phone. One of its flaws is the not so good picture quality. Although images produced have crisp and fine detail, the color quality is not accurate enough. There are also pictures that looked washed out and it does not produce quality pictures in low light. Add to this flaw is its non-removal battery may also discourage some users.

Motorola Droid Razr is another innovation that Motorola can show off in the competitive mobile market. It may still be far from perfect, but the features can already be considered outstanding.
