Micro Express MicroFlex 23B Desktop PC Review

Oftentimes, people feel guilty for wanting to buy something just for entertainment purposes especially today when state-of-the-art gadgets are not very cheap. It is frustrating for many, especially for gaming enthusiasts, to disregard their desire for fun just because they cannot afford it. Fortunately, there is a way to end this frustration, and that is, choosing MicroFlex 23B.

MF 23B is another quality product of Micro Flex. After more than two decades since its establishment 1986, Micro Flex has been known to deliver excellent products and services to its customers. They are among the top most recognized companies by many industry publications. Their utmost attention to details confirms the quality performance of MF 23B.

MF 23B is priced at around $600.00 to $699.00 per unit. Its price would seem very distant as compared to those of other brands. Nonetheless, it has not compromised the over-all performance of this amazing gaming computer.

MF 23B has two case options: the initial case which is IN-WIN C589, and Cooler Master Storm Enforcer which has additional cooling capacity but with an additional price of $129.00 upon purchase. Nonetheless, it has an Intel CPU Fan and Heatsink for continuous airflow. Basically, MF 23B’s case is identical that of Micro Flex 25B.

MF 23B has managed to include advanced features like the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium, AMD Radeon HD 6670, and a Blu-ray Drive which may come as a surprise for many customers because of its affordable price. These are good additions to its standard features such as 3.3GHz Sandy Bridge Intel Core i3-2120 processor, 4GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive. In addition to this it has two USB 3.0 ports plus six additional ports, DSL, Firewire, and eSATA ports, and a multi format card reader bay. At the same time, standard softwares such as CyberLink Blu-ray disc software and LightScribe disc labeling software are included in this gaming computer.

The best thing with Micro Flex 23B is its almost unbelievable low price. For just $ 600.00 to $ 699.00, no one would actually think that they could experience excellent performance from this gaming computer. In a way, its affordability negates high expectations from the customers which make them appreciate MF 23B more. Plus, based on comparisons made by several publications, it shows that MF 23B even delivers better performance as compared to other gaming computers with higher prices.

However, MF 23B obviously lacks aesthetics in terms of its case design. Of course first impression is very important especially when there are many other computers sold in the market. MF 23B may easily be disregarded just by looking at its plain, seemingly-weak chassis. And because it is has a lower price, the over-all performance of MF 23B is expected to be limited as compared to other gaming computers.

Generally, Micro Flex 23B is a wise purchase. It has all the standard features of a gaming computer plus other advanced features that is very unlikely for its price. Although there is a glitch when it comes to exterior design and aesthetics, its performance is remarkable beyond expectations.
